CIPSEC is an innovation action which main objective is to create a unified framework that orchestrates state-of-the-art heterogeneous security products to offer high levels of protection in IT (information technology) and OT (operational technology) departments addressed to Critical Infrastructures (CI)
The expertise acquired in CIPSEC will help to address the security challenges when designing the mF2C architecture; and also, in the opposite way, CIPSEC will benefit from the knowledge, acquired in mF2C by commons partners, about hierarchical architectures. One of the consequences of this synergy could be the proposal of a hierarchical and distributed security architecture for fog to cloud systems.
