External Advisory Board first meeting on 15 february 2018

on 15 february 2018 the mF2C project held the first External Advisory Board meeting, with the following experts:

  • Kate Keahey (Argonne National Lab / University of Chicago)
  • Amy Apon (Clemson University)
  • Dominic Schupke (Airbus Industries)
  • Jianping Wang (City University of Hong Kong) – excused absent
  • Guang-Jie Ren (IBM Almaden Research Center) – excused absent

 

As first speech Ana Juan, as Project Coordinator, presented some slides with a general introduction of the project, main motivations and expected impacts.

After that Xavi Masip, as Scientific Director, made an extensive presentation of the mF2C core architecture, the particular approach, current developments and validation methods.

Then a roundtable followed with the first round of questions by the experts on scientific aspects of the project.

In the second part Antonio Salis, as Exploitation and Dissemination manager, presented a speech addressing the defined Industrial impact strategy.

Then a roundtable followed with the second round of questions by the experts on focus on the industrial aspects and different options for the exploitation of the framework.

The feedbacks collected are positive, stating that the mF2C project has solid foundations and very good opportunities for success.
